Why OhSNAP?

For the price of one, you get two photographers for the photo shoot. As cosplayers, we know that getting the perfect shot is extremely hard in the convention environment. That is why a private photo shoot is perfect for you and your groups. . We know that cosplayers not only want a great photo of them and their costume, but also a photo that captures the character they are cosplaying. Being cosplayers ourselves too, OhSNAP knows what our models want. As artists, we also have a particular way of photographing our models in the way that presents them best.

 Services & Pricing.

 If you order before August 5^th, an extra person can be added to the photo shoot for FREE.

 PHOTOSHOOTS
$20 for 1/2 hour for one person.
$5 for each additional person.
$10 for an additional 1/2 hour.

OhSNAP will be located in the Artist Alley. We will have on site printers for prints available. Photos from the previous photo shoots will also be available upon request.

ANIME EVOLUTION 2007

With Anime Evolution almost around the corner ohSNAP would like to formally announce the opening of reservations for photoshoots for this years convention. This years photoshoots will run a bit differently then last years.

Private Photoshoot Pricing
With the wear and tear that conventions and shoots have on our equipment as well as the labor that goes into every photoshoot we do, ohSNAP is introducing a photoshoot fee. These prices are as followed:

$20 for 1/2 hour for one person.
$5 for each additional person.
$10 for an additional 1/2 hour.

You will receive 20 pictures for 1/2hour and 20 additional pictures for any additional 1/2 hour purchased meaning that you will be receiving 40 pictures for an hour shoot.

Prices are non negotiable and will be discussed before the photoshoot just incase anything is unclear.

NOTE: Everyone in the shoot must be 18 or over. If someone is not, but still wants to participate, they must have a legal guardian sign the required release form. To get this form please contact us and we will send you a copy which you are to bring signed to the shoot.

Why should I even book ohSNAP now that there are these prices?
Well unlike other photographers with ohSNAP you dont just get one photographer but TWO for the price of one. We like to see this as a large bonus for the cosplayers as this is not offered by any other cosplay site.

What do I get if I do sign up?
When you sign up for a private shoot with us you receive your own gallery which will showcase you in 20 pictures as well as a photo CD. Prints can also be obtained. For information on prints you will need to contact us for more information.

Artist Alley

We will also be getting a Artist Alley table this year at the convention. This table will be open as another way for you to receive ohSNAP's services at the convention this year. Some of the services that we will be offering this year include:

-On site photoshoot bookings-We will be leaving a couple spots open in our days for people who were unable to pre-book photoshoots with us. These will be very limited in number and given on a first come first serve bases.
-Photo prints- During the convention starting on the thursday ohSNAP photographers will be around taking the pictures of cosplayers and the like. We will then take these pictures and display them on a laptop that will be playing at our table in a constant loop of all new pictures that we have taken until then. These shots will be available to the cosplayers to purchase a print. (Note:only the actual cosplayers my purchase their own pictures.)
-Single shots and prints-In case we have yet to catch your picture we will be offering a 'shot and print' service at the con. This means that you can hire us to take a couple shots of your costume and then we will be giving you a choice of which one you would like to have printed out for you.
All prices for the Artist Alley service will anncounced closer to the convention. All prints will be printed using a photo printer on special photo paper.
All proceeds made from ohSNAP's photoshoots pay towards the equipment and website that helps to keep this website around.

Since the opening of our site on July 27, 2006 ohSNAP has been catching pictures of Cosplayers and the like for one full year now. With the one year anniversary of our site coming up we at ohSNAP thought it would only be fitting for us to hold a photoshoot for any Cosplayers that are interested in getting some shots from us as well as help us celebrate our sites birthday the best way possible.

When: Sunday July 15th
Where:UBC (at specific meeting place has yet to be decided.)
Time:12:30
Theme: Open theme which means wear what you feel like wearing.

So as Jing was saying before in another post. We are having some problems with our galleries and as such we will be unable to upload any pictures until after June 18 because our web host is on vacation. We were having problems during the week which I had been working with my host to fix. (If you notice some of our thumbnails are not working and we almost lost some of our data etc.)  I apologize for anyone who was waiting for Jing to finally get her pictures up.  Just a little longer please.

We will be up and running  with a site update and news by the end of this month to prepare for Anime Evolution and even the sites birthday.  (Almost been one year.) I have been thinking that as a celebration for the one year of the site we might be holding a photoshoot for any local cosplayers in our area. More information on that possible event and AE photoshoots are still to come.

I just finished editing all the photos for Friday  of Sakuracon 2007 (including the photoshoots) but the site would not let me upload =\
rather odd! have to check with Kioko about it-- sorry for the wait guys. Just when i want to upload some stuff they decide not to let me do so.

I will most likely be averaging two of these posts a day...>> So bear with me as I vomit out all the pictures.^^ Just trying to whore myself and the site as much as possible. So eventually Jing and I can see about getting more equipment for the site.>> Feel free to whore us to whoever you can!
Convention News
We are still kicking about the idea of making a trip one province over and going to Animethon. We have heard both positive and negative things about it and since we are unable to go to AX this year. (Which makes me really sad... you CA people don't understand how great you have it sometimes when it comes to your location...) Next year I will be going. And then we will have out little coat hanger/reflector holder hakukumo with us then since she is AFK from the  convention season this year.  We also might be going to  Kumori Con this year.  But again thats all up in the  air. The only definate convention for now is Anime Evolution since it is afterall our home town convention. So we will be advertising in a couple months for photoshoots for that. So if your interested keep an eye on us for that and a possible summer photoshoot aswell.
